Teacher Tech News Superintendent Connie K. Calloway, PH.D will have the opportunity to visit schools and programs in Korea later this month.
The City Wide Baby Shower recently held at the Catherine Ferguson Academy attracted many teen mothers, their friends and family to the school to find out how it can help the young mothers get back on the education highway. It was a productive day that also provided those in attendance with an enjoyable afternoon.
Students at Breithaupt, Crockett and Randolph Career Technical centers have spent their first part of the summer working on beautiful creations for the 5th Annual Entrepreneur Trade Fair where you can spend a little, get something really special and the students keep the proceeds.
The Skillman Foundation has been a steady supporter of the educational progress for students in the Detroit Public Schools. This year 82 Detroit Public Schools shared over $2 million in Skillman Grants. It made a difference because the money was used to help the students achieve.
